Hear from top speakers in AI, DevOps and Cloud Migration at the 2019 GeekWire Cloud Summit
One of the biggest tasks facing businesses interested in cloud computing is figuring out how to make the transition without breaking their existing applications, and then unlocking the promise of all that data in the cloud. If that describes your company, the 2019 GeekWire Cloud Summit will help solve those challenges.
Tickets are available here, and early-bird rates early next month, so make sure to sign up today.
We will be featuring four breakout tracks during our third annual cloud event in Bellevue on June 5th, with speakers lined up to give valuable advice and inspiration through a series of technical talks on some of the most pressing issues facing the cloud. Talks in artificial intelligence/machine learning, DevOps, and cloud migration will set engineers up for success, while entrepreneurs and marketers will benefit from the experience and perspective of venture capitalists and CIOs during our business of the cloud track.
It’s still early, but a lot of smart people think AI will wind up as the killer application for the cloud. Just as it no longer makes sense for lots of companies to buy hardware and maintain their own computing infrastructure, it makes even less sense for those companies to attempt to duplicate the world-class AI research and cloud services provided by all of the big cloud vendors.
The concept of DevOps, in which developers and operators work more closely together to ensure application availability and reliability, is well established at this point. Yet DevOps can be tricky to implement because it is first and foremost a philosophy of organizational behavior, as opposed to a new technical skill that employees can learn quickly.
And cloud migration is one of the hottest topics in the cloud business as hybrid clouds and multicloud strategies start to bloom. Companies that have invested heavily in their own infrastructure need to identify paths to cloud computing that make sense for their applications and organizations, and both cloud vendors and third-party companies are hard at work making that transition as seamless and painless as possible
We’ve got a great lineup of speakers confirmed for this year’s event, including Microsoft CTO Kevin Scott, T-Mobile CIO Cody Sanford, Icertis CEO Samir Bodas, Zulily VP of Technology Bindu Thota, Preeti Rathi of Ignition Partners and many others.
We’ll announce more speakers in the coming weeks ahead of the early-bird ticket deadline of May 7th who will join past Cloud Summit speakers such as Amazon Web Services’ Peter DeSantis, Docker CEO Steve Singh, and Alaska Airlines CIO Charu Jain.
Make sure to grab your tickets today.
